I managed to piece together what I did at Glastonbury, with the help of the lineup on the website. It's a big block of text so don't feel you have to read it all ;-)

Hayseed Dixie are ace, aren't they? I've never been sure to be worried by the fact that I like their own original recordings (as the Kerosene Brothers) almost as much...

"I almost forgot I'd paid £125 to watch commercial rock with a bunch of other middle-class white people."

Whilst I noticed some South Koreans camping not far from us, and some Japanese guys sat in front of us during Brian Wilson, possibly the only black guy I saw was the lead singer of Bloc Party.

That said I spent the weekend stumbling around the site going "mmmmARRRGH" with my eyes half closed, so...

The guy in the Leftfield tent singing "Eminem is gay" made me laugh, though. The whole Leftfield tent makes me laugh in fact - politically I'm not that different from them, but come on.

(Going round reading other people's reviews.)

I was actually surprised by the number of black people I saw. This is largely because I expected to see none - as my brother said (without prejudice, I hasten to add) before we got there, 'this is going to be a white weekend' - and I think I might have seen at least five! I also saw two South Asian people, so who can say that Glastonbury's not diverse?

"Turned out it was far too small a venue for the crowd she was attracting"

Yeah. A load of goth fatties.
