Aw, BB. I understand how difficult that can be. I could tell you it's not your fault, but you know that. It's hard to see somebody that young steering down the wrong path already. It sounds like on top of being moved to a new class and starting counseling, his home life needs to be evaluated. He's learning this stuff from somebody, somewhere.

I'm not overly religious and I won't be offended if you think it's stupid but the only thing I can say is to pray that he finds his way sooner rather than later. And to keep being a positive role model. Maybe one day he'll see it and it will stick with him.

Meanwhile, think about the rest of the kids that make you smile every day. Think about the ones you can help. Maybe it will help you keep your spirits up. :)

That kid sounds terrible. I'm sorry you, the other teachers, and the students all have to go through that. I'm glad he's being moved, though, and getting the counseling he needs. It's the best thing for everyone, in my opinion.

Aw, sweetie, that's such a terrible thing! *hugs you tightly* It's so hard not to let something like that bring you down, I know, but I hope that you'll be able to get that spark back when you think of all of the kids that you can help and influence.

You're doing such important and vital work, helping to shape minds at such a young and impressionable age. But there will unfortunately be other people in the lives of some of them who will be shaping them in entirely wrong ways, as sounds like must be the case with this one (unless it should turn out to be something like mental illness or the like).

So sorry you had such a bad day, hon! I hope tomorrow is SO much better for you! Take care of yourself and hang in there! There are always better days ahead! *many, many hugs*

It sounds like that kid is in desperate need of some professional help, so the counseling sounds like a good idea at this point. Like everyone else has said, there's nothing you can have done. Things like this just happen and it's not your fault you couldn't do anything. *hugs*
