This *is* a good rec. I haven't read that much of this writer's work but I think her writing in the party series, as far as I can remember, came across as really fresh and fluent. And a lot of fun. And I enjoyed the mood and tense she used. Thanks for this.

Oh yes, I like that idea - she's fresh and funny! There's mabe one of two of her's that I haven't got all excited about, but generally, if I know I want a good read and I'm not feeling adventurous enough to risk a writer I don't know, she's an author I know I can rely on!
