"Please suspend disbelief before entering.
*grins* I did, and I'm glad!
The story caught me right from the beginning and and there is so much banter and excitement and adventure in it, that I completely forgot that I normally don't like sci fi. (Probably because there are no extensive descriptions of technical stuff and future world scenarios!)
And even the fact that Doyle has wings fits perfectly to this Bodie, who is very protective, and he does everything to save Doyle's wings, because he understands that they are part of his personality.
I think I like it even better than Suitable Gravity.
Thanks!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed this--and I'm still blushing over you comparing it to Suitable Gravity!

(Probably because there are no extensive descriptions of technical stuff and future world scenarios!)

This is partly because I am absolutely hopeless when it comes to technical things--so I'm glad the absence wasn't a bad thing! :)

Just finished reading and that was a great AU story. I never would have thought I'd like a Doyle with wings, but I did! :D
Thanks a lot!

Oh, and the cover and vid (what a cool idea!) was as brilliant as the story! :D

This was a fun, engaging read. Great worldbuilding and sci-fi elements that fitted and didn’t make your head spin trying to understand them! Doyle with wings was totally believable and great to imagine:) A lovely story.

Thank you so much! I'm glad the sci-fi wasn't too over the top--and that the wings worked out, too!

I'm not a huge fan of AU, but this story was just down right fun! Reminded me of Firefly and the Chris Wooding's Ketty Jay stories. You did a good job of slowly developing the relationship and trust between Bodie and Doyle. I really enjoyed this....may need to rethink AU!

*late writer says hi*

Thank you so much for giving this crazy AU a shot! I'm extremely flattered that it brought Firefly to mind, as that's one of my favorite shows (not counting the obvious, of course)!

This was a huge amount of fun and I enjoyed it tremendously. :-) I was so sorry when it came to an end and would love to see more adventures of these two. You did a fantastic job of creating this universe--thank you so much for sharing this lovely story. I really hope you'll do more in Pros. :-)
