Personal Review - Star Trek: The Animated Series

Just picked this up on DVD, been meaning to for some time. This is an animated series of the original Star Trek series, which picks up where the live-action TV series left off. Oh, I watched ST-TAS when it first aired. And M'Ress was one of the major reasons I watched. But then I was so desperate for any new Star Trek (I was 11) that even Filmation animation was tolerable. I was too young to have the hots for M'Ress at that age, but I know I thought she was a lot cooler than Arex.

Unlike you, I could never catch this series in reruns. I lived deep in the country and only could get the 3 major networks.

The episode with the Kzinti is actually an adaptation of a Niven short story! That was the thing I enjoyed best... okay, maybe second best after Lt. M'ress... about the series; good writing!
