So apparently China has blocked both Facebook and Blogspot. Facebook should be back online once Xinjiang calms down, but Blogger is probably gone for good. So I can't access my new China blog. If necessary, I'll just start a new lj, but I'd really like something people can subscribe to so it shows up in their email. Any suggestions?

People can subscribe to an RSS feed on your LJ page, so it's not quite email, but it'll still notify them.

Yeah, I did that the first time, but people kept getting added and then wanting me to re-email them all the backlog, and it was too annoying. :)

Paid LJ users can get e-mail notifications of updates. I think you might even be able to get them if you are a free user.

That's the thing. Its for my mom and other people who don't have ljs.

Gelf is right. RSS is definitely the way to go.
