Hello! This is
arandomstudent, coordinator for the 2008 Naruto Calendar Project.
Here I have the list of who-has-which-month, as well as more details on the fan-art content and deadline. If you volunteered for the project, you must read this!
(Some positions are still open: February, May, June, July, August, and December of Desk Calendar Crew, and 2 Pinch Hitters. Read & leave a comment if you are interested in volunteering.)
I was able to get everyone's #1 or #2 choices.

gabzillaz Fan-art size
1425 x 1425 for Desk Calendar (4 3/4 inches, or 12cm, on each side)
2250 x 2250 for Wall Calendar (7 1/2 inches, or 19cm, on each side)
The size for cover will be different; I will reply to your comment personally.
If you are drawing & scanning, scan your image at 300dpi.
If you are drawing directly on your computer, it is okay to draw something smaller then stretch it out. Just make sure its printed form looks allright after being stretched.
Fan-art Content
The fan-art must be related to Naruto.
The fan-art must be new (not seen online prior to the release of the Calendars).
Please sign your name.
The fan-art must be comfortably rated G or PG-13. These calendars will be displayed in home, work, and school. It will be viewed by many people (grandma, teenagers, youth counselor, kindergarten teacher). Please do not push the limits. If you are in doubt, play safe.
Other than that, I give you complete freedom. You can draw whichever character whichever way you choose. Be creative!
Deadline
Please turn in your fan-art to me via e-mail before Christmas. I really need that last few days before New Year's Day to put everything together.
If you cannot meet the deadline, please tell me as soon as possible, so we can arrange a different date or alert a pinch hitter.
Also, a suggestion came up recently of making a desktop/wallpaper/background version (the kind that goes on your monitor) of calendars. It is rather late, but I think it is a good idea. It would not be any extra work for you; I will find a way to edit your fan-arts into desktop/wallpaper/background calendars.
If you do not like the idea, tell me so and I can just leave out your fan-art from this version.
Thanks to all those who volunteered! I look forward to working with you.
Please leave a comment to let me know you have dropped by and read this post. Also let me know of your preferred method of communication (LJ or e-mail) and your opinion on the desktop/wallpaper/background version of the calendars (see above).
Again, thank you! Get those creative minds working, and see you around!
