So that stereotype about Mexicans hanging around Home Depot looking for jobs.. oh god. I didn't think it was COMPLETELY serious until I just witnessed it myself. Holy shit. There had to be like.. 50 Mexicans.

Dad said they usually hang around all day ):

boring daily life

Why Wal-mart? Home Depot is where they could do hard manual labor which is what a majority of immigrants are used to.

Ah, that does make some sense though. Home Depot also offers health benefits for part timers.

I'm pretty sure they would get paid under the table and not for being part timers.

ffffff. just be glad they don't hit on you when you're walking around Home Depot. I fucking hate them. Mom told me that some lady was trying to sue some group...I forget in which state because they were harassing the women there.

In our area, the Home Depot and Lowes try to keep them away, so they wind up in the parking lot of a shopping center that I go to for fabrics. One town over though the Home Depot has tons of them.
Sadly I've found that most stereotypes about Mexicans are true. D: especially the one about them having really loud parties with polka music playing all night...my mom's neighbors do it more than once a week.

We've had parties like that |D

lol and I like how you called it Polka music. It reminds me of circus music personally.

I've always heard it referred to as Mexican polka in my area, although I definitely get why you'd think it sounds circus-like!
