when the boss uses bewildering fog, you should guard like theres no tomorrow. because if you don't there won't be.

I fused a Norn to defeat that boss. Norn has both Invigorate and Debilitate which were both pretty useful.
If you have other characters with buffs use them towards the end of the battle SP permitting because the boss will take one turn to debuff rather than using both to attack.
