I missed library book sale last weekend.  I saw the sign, and I made a mental note to myself, "Self, library book sale is coming up soon!"

And then I forgot all about it.

I want cheap books!

It's just as well.  I need to save money to fix my car, and the five dollars I would have spent on 25 books there can buy me...like 1/25 of some car part.

OH MY GOD I WANT TO BE ON VACATION FOREVER.

I went back to work this week.  Mostly it's been not so bad, but today I worked straight through, all day.  No lunch, because I had to go to a dumb meeting to talk about dumb things.  I should scan one of our agendas.  Seriously dumb things go on in these meetings.

It's December, so everyone has Christmas on the mind.  When someone asks me what I plan to ask for, the answer is usually, "I don't know."  Or once, I made an adult decision and said, "new tires for my car?"  But that's not what I want AT ALL.  I mean, really?  Who wants tires for Christmas?  How practical, and adult, and BORING.
