it's a real shame that the eagles play Professional Football or else we would have had a moral victory last night.  which we all know is nearly as good as a score-more-points-than-them victory.  seriously though, that was the most exciting football game i've watched in . . . a while.  go birds.

birds, football

dude. while that WAS a very good game, clearly you are forgetting last season's Rutgers-Louisville game, which was probably the best football game i have ever seen in my life.

i just hope (in vain, i am sure) that aj's supreme dual-layer choke job at the end will kill any potential qb controversy. but i am sure we will hear the "he practically beat the best team ever he is obviously way better than mcnabb aj feeley is the quarterback of the future" bullshit. sure, when there was no pressure at all & no one on the face of planet earth thought you had a whisper of a prayer to win, you looked pretty good. but then comes crunch time & the opportunity to seal the deal & WIN THE DAMN GAME & you choke big time & shit all over yourself. because you are aj feeley & you are a backup quarterback & that is all you will ever be. thank you for playing. (true, that pick in the end zone was a bad play call, but i still blame aj for the loss.)
