Yeah, there is no frickin' way I would've paid to go, despite the fun. It's one thing to soldier through if you're doing an appearance, but if I'd been out in that heat, confronted with $6 slices of pizza and tons of Bret Brettersons with poor social skills, knowing I'd paid for the experience, I would've gotten seriously pissy.
