Another Day At Court
I got the T last Friday. I discussed the dosage with Nick Gordon and I will be checking back with my primary. I gave myself the first shot. I hate that, getting up the nerve sticking it in my leg. 1 out of 2 ain't bad
No birth certificate yet, but yesterday my GP wrote my first script for T. Since I am postmenopausal, we are starting with a low dose. Now to do the injection. -
Little anxious
Still waiting on my birth certificate from Virginia. I hope there isn't a problem. I really should start on getting my passport updated soon. Chachi passed all the citizenship stuff, we are waiting on the letter that ells her when she is swearing in. Who Knew?
A couple of days ago I told my deaf 73 year old mother about my completed transition (except hormones). She kept saying this is my daughter and I thought I would handle it from her. Finally before dinner, I told her everything. When I said I changed my name, she was little shocked til I told her I just masculinized my first name to honor her mother ( Read more... ) -
Birth Certificate Sent for
Today, I sent all the paperwork for the birth certificate to a designated person. Keeping my fingers crossed. Work has been the usual load. I am blessed. -
Changing the Name
Yesterday after work I changed my license and gender marker without a hitch. Today, I went to Social Security and they will not change my gender marker without a copy of the birth certificate. Seems like that will be the next step. Wish I was 15 so I didn't have to go and change so many things. Oh well, another day will come. -
Finally!
Got my letter in the mail! Got my work stuff changed and went to the bank. I need to take off a day and get a lot of the other stuff changed, but everything is going smoothly. -
Still waiting
Well, it has been almost two weeks and no letter from the Circuit Court for my name change. I know it is a done deal, just waiting to get the letter to change the IDs ( Read more... )
