I saw this on the way to work this morning and was like, "Ee! Now we've made it big!"

I think the ratings only count those who have nielson; they don't count the many others who watch it. I don't know.

Definitely the case. Also they don't count online viewings in those numbers (and NBC does count the total of views on nbc.com as far as I know-supposedly that was what helped to keep the show running.)
