Hey you kinsfolk,

Firstly, I wanna say how unbelievably appreciative and flattered I am by your support. It means the absolute world to me, and shocks and surprises and moves me everytime i'm on here. And, so, while I'm usually very ferociously private about the inner workings of the process, I wanted to share with you the longer (but still raw) recorded version of last night's song. Working on these tunes for the show is like having a little Japanese garden. I work with these great artists, Tim Jones , who is responsible for composing the 'sound' of Jeffster, the music, the 'Jeff' part, if you will, and Eugene Edwards, who helps guide my vocals (be they what they are...!), and, though vocally we want it to sound Lester-like, and not overly-refined, and instantaneous, thus doing very few singing takes, we still tinker with each song in an isolated, detailed way, raking the sand here, moving the baby Bonsai there. For me, it really balances out the broad strokes and fast pace shooting on the Chuck set. So, here it is...me singin the Rusted Root's tune 'Send Me On My Way' via Jeffster. Many thanks to you all for being there, and enjoy...if ya can!
