A man on 15th had a sign that said, "Need change for food!" I need every cent I've got, but I offered him my leftover toast and hashbrowns. He declined. I understand scoring a fix being a more important priority than eating, but it wasn't like he had anything else to do, and who the hell turns down hashbrowns? Srsly.

As the proverb goes, "Beggars can't be choosers."

If he needs change for food, and turns down good food, let him starve. He wasn't looking for food anyway.

Kind of harsh and judgmental on my part, but seriously.
