So can any of you deisgner or programmer types recommend a place to get cool custom marker sets for use with Google Maps?

Are you making your own mashup or are you using Google's new "My Maps" feature?

Doing my own using the API. Every now and then I try to pick up a new stupid web trick.

It seems like all the fun these days is in mashing up various site APIs, so I thought I'd dig in.

All my skills are back from generating whole pages via Perl, so my whole skill set is pretty much expired at this point. I'm still learning how to split content into separate files, etc. I can proudly say the html file for that page is only 28 lines long!

Your timing couldn't have been more ironic since Google is trying to make everyone make their own mashups now with My Maps.
