This week I got some great pictures from the License show at the Middle East taken by my friends Tom Monaghan and Michael P (no fancy web interface on those, just big ol' pictures

Hehehe. Maybe it's because I awlays seem so busy in my posts!
I fall in love with certain shows. But really there's been nothing that's sucked me in completely since Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Nowadays it's mostly HBO original series watched on DVD via Netflix.
Dude, you should have said you were freaked. I thought you were a little antsy on Sunday, and would have said something had I realised what it was about.
IMHO, this is the best thing you could be doing right now. You're still young enough to take the risk, and smart and dedicated enough to make it work. It gives you the cash and mobility to work pretty much wherever you want, and while I'm not thrilled about the possibility of you moving to New York, you're now not tied to one location for your job. Even if it doesn't work out, you've still got very marketable skills and working for the government looks good on the old resume. Having clearance opens the door for other contracts further down the road, so you're now facing many more options than you had before.
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement, Chris!
The freak outs come in spurts. Sunday night was actually fairly freak out free (got that one out of alliteration for dummies). I was more concerned for our partner in crime and annoyed with my laptop.
Right now the freak out is occuring because I put all sorts of calls out yeserday (to the accountant, to the folks that are suppose to be giving me my travel details) and have yet to hear back, I hates the waiting...
I am so there with you on the social awkwardness. Watching TV or movies where a scene like that is coming makes me want to duck out to the bathroom, or change the channel. I have no idea why this is... Although I also admit to getting more emotional involvement in books, movies, and TV than most. Stories tend to move me, in whatever media they are being communicated.
I know! Nothing makes me want to shout at the screen more than this. We are totally setting ourselves up to for some psychological study here. Which is alright by me, as long as it pays.
