Towards the end of last year, ryogrande wrote me an awesome NakaMassu fic as part of the help_pilipinas fundraiser. In this one scene in the fic, they're at a buffet and Massu proudly notices that Nakamaru makes 4 trips to the buffet table. I was reminded of this adorable scene when I watched the Majissuka episode that aired today about breakfast service at restaurants/

Between Massu, Ueda, and Koki, Yucchi has to eat up or nothing would be left for him xD
They should have had Massu eat with Yucchi in the episode! Those two at the breakfast buffet would be epic :DDD
It's great seeing Massu sit in for Yucchi when he's away, but I really want to see them in the show together >____<

SKJANFJ this is so precious and I'm sooo pleased I checked my f-list today because ugh. Idk what it is about the thought of Maru explicitly doing things on camera because he knows it'd make Massu happy. It's so unlike Maru but I feel that he often does little things for Massu that he doesn't do for others. And the fact that it strikes not as deliberate but more as something he does without thinking.

I think so too that there's some special treatment with those that Maru's close too (Ueda being another special one besides Massu ;D) There was this one old Shounen Club clip where the camera passes over Maru and Massu with their arms around each other and talking to Koki in an off the mic moment. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone or something because it's already rare to see Maru initiating contact with someone let alone the fact that he really seemed possessive of Massu >__< Makes me think that he's so comfortable around Massu that he does it without thinking like you said.

I'll take any excuse to flail over them so no problem here. If anything flailing is encouraged ^^

Oh gosh, good, then let me flail about this little NakaMa moment that always resonates in my mind. I remember back during the backstage for Summary probably near the end, the camera was sort of swooping around. It moved to Maru who was pawing at Massu's arm going, "Massu~ Massu!" while he was busy talking to someone else and I remember being excusably just starry-eyed because of the fretful expression on Maru's face because the very last thing I'd expect Maru to behave like is deeply dependent and a tiny bit spoiled. I mean that was back in 2004 so djfknkjdnf idek, ugh yeah, just concentrating my nakama feels here lol >.

Ah yes I remember that moment! After trying to get Massu's attention and somewhat failing, it appeared like he was looking around to see if someone else noticed or not lol Too cute~
Back then, Maru wasn't subtle at all. I remember another old Shounen Club moment where KT and NEWS were performing together and towards the end of the song, Maru put his hand on Massu's shoulder and it was still there even when the song was winding down. It looked so awkward because Massu seemed to try to groove to the music but Maru's got a hold on him lol
Maru does seemed to have grown out of it, though there are still some (more) subtle gestures here and there :D
My favorite is the butt pat of encouragement before Massu attempts the wall jump in TFP2 :DDD

All for Nakama feels, in more ways than one :P
