Got the DSL installed yesterday. They called the day before to confirm the order. I was intending to call them, but I didn't have to. On the day I went to check the status of the order and had a little trouble with the web site, but pulled up a chat window and a Customer Service Representative was able to give me the UPS tracking number of the ( Read more... )

I'm glad you guys have joined the internet :).

Your wireless setup sounds pretty secure. As long as you aren't using WEP the encryption is probably fine. You may want to change encryption keys every once in a while to be sure. You also may want to disable wireless configuration on the router. In the case that someone does crack the encryption that will keep them from sniffing your router password the next time you login wirelessly.

My advice is to use WPA2 and don't worry about people sniffing your packets. WPA2 uses AES (128 bit keys) for encryption and integrity protection (cipher block chaining mode), and to the best of my knowledge, AES is unbroken ( ... )
