Hello and welcome to the first and original Chuck/Nate community. I'm your friendly moderator, Karin, and I'm hoping that I'm not the only one who saw the cackling sexual tension between Chuck and Nate on the show. I'm gearing more towards the TV series as I don't think Chuck and Nate were this close in the book.

I don't know much about the books, never having read them, but what attracted me to this pairing in the show was the way Chuck and Nate are opposites. Chuck, as you said, has no morals and is always trying to tempt Nate. Yet, this temptation lacks the malice Chuck shows towards everyone else. Nate seems to be the one person he genuinely likes, or at least comes closer to it than with anyone else ( ... )

They were good, but not as good for the C/N as the TV series. Chuck was a lot... less sleazy in a devious, dangerous kind of way and more sleazy in a gross, gay-acting way. And he had a monkey. Nate was more or less the same except he was high a lot more of the time (re: every single moment of his life).

I honestly think Nate is the only real friend Chuck has. I mean, sure, he hangs out with Blair and Kati and Isabel and Serena, but he obviously has no problems exploiting them. Meanwhile, he talks to Nate and gives him advice and listens to his problems, which is more than I've seen him do for any of the others. I love him. :D

I want to see what they're going to do about Chuck knowing about Nate and Serena. Because, I mean, he told Serena he'd use this to end her, but what about Nate? He's directly involved, too, although that whole double standard thing might protect him from catching any heat about sleeping with Serena. Whatevs, it will all reveal itself as the series goes on.

Well, here's one theory: if people find out, it may ruin Serena. But with our society the worst that will happen to Nate will be his girlfriend breaking up with him and all the guys patting him on the back and jokingly calling him a player. Clearing the field for Chuck to make a move. Um. But yeah, definitely have to watch how it all unravels. ;D

So. btw, hi, i'm new XD
one day i wanted to make a header. and i wanted to use similar pictures in it. so i went for three images of the actors representing Nate and Chuck. and i thought they looked so cute together (with aww's and stuff) that i decided to pair them in my head ^-^
btw if you're curious, here's the header (hey, i never said it ended up well XD). i've also made one icon, but i'm too lazy to look for it right now.

thank you :) i'm not sure where i have them from, because i surfed a lot, but most likely a website called chace crawford online (i forgot the adress at the moment). or some lj community. if you want, i can look for them and send them to you. there are plenty of pics with the two next to each other and i'm still working on more N/C graphics ^-^
