I LOVE your new icon! It's GREAT! =) I like the picture of you, too. (Looks like you've been biting your lip as well.. mine's raw as heck.) We gotta get together and drink umeshu one of these days.

Wow--now that salad looks DELICIOUS! I've never been to "Kujira no Andy" (the only restaurants I've eaten in in Kobe are some expensive Italian place--a friend had a party there once, though I don't remember the name of the eatery--and a *kaiten-zushi* joint which was only so-so [compared to food in Tottori, that is!]) but it definitely looks tops. The last time we went to Kyoto our favorite Taiwanese restaurant had been shut down. :( There are still lots and lots of good places left to eat in the Kyoto-Osaka area, though. Have you ever been to a *Ninnikuya* by chance? Gotta watch the breath (garlic and all) but very tasty!

BTW, Aeon also "passed me by" (I got to the final interview only to be sent a letter saying 'thanks for your interest', etc. Ended up teaching at a privately run school, which had its pluses and minuses needless to say).

P.S. You always post such cool pics. :)

Restaurants certainly come and go in Japan, don't they? Too bad about your Taiwanese place! =( I have in fact been to Ninnikuya! It's great, huh? This country is sure good for the restaurants.

Not at all...enjoy your blog very much.

In another thread you asked whether we had ever met? I don't believe so, though anything's possible I suppose... :)
