Thanks! The stars all are new... everything that isn't a star is a couple of years old. We hired a maid exactly once, and she scrubbed the fork out of my designs. Gotta remove them and start over, or touch them up. And paint many, many more stars. :-)

You can probably see how hideous that floor is without some decorations. I'll be happy when each and every tile is painted. :-)

I wonder if you can find grout stain? If the grout was an accent color it might frame your stars to great effect.

We don't own this place, but when we moved in, I asked if we could paint the walls, and they said we could do "whatever we wanted - build a cricket pitch," if we finished a year's contract. It's been more than five years.
