Hamburg and Flensburg

So my computer is too sluggish these days to handle the size of photos our camera takes, so my posting of pictures has slowed. But I should be sleeping now, and we all know that's the best reason to edit pictures and post them.

I've spent four whole days in Hamburg this month, and not in a row. Two more to go. I leave in the morning.

I took this picture for no good reason.

That photo looks like it has some promise. I like the squarish windows on the bland building. I also like the how the triangles of the Give Way and Pedestrian Crossing signs work well with the arrows on the traffic lights and sign boards. And the arrows and triangles work well with those squarish windows. I would probably crop that photo into a square to cut out the roofs of the building and the distracting posts on either side.

Ohhhhhh that pastry plate looks divine. Apple slices, bread, and ice cream are a good combination... any way you mix them up!

I remember drinking a Flensburger Pils during my "try everything" beer spree at the local grocery store. It was in the cutest little bottle with a flip-top ceramic lid. The flavor was quite hoppy like Urquell with a texture of fine champagne bubbles. Very old-world, inside and out.
