My plane!! anonymous May 1 2005, 15:57:59 UTC
Hey Susan! Nice post you have here! I can't wait to fly on that giant!!!!! I'm extatic that Emirates ordered 45 of these planes!!! And I heard that they even want to stretch version of the current A380!!! Wow...do you know what Emirates will do with these planes?? Will they expand more and more and more?! Oh yea....I've been doing research about international schools in Dubai and I found an American High School. It's called the American School of Dubai. I really wanna attend high school there and have the opportunity to live there a couple years earlier. What do you think???? :)

Sure, why not? An international education is a beautiful thing!

Hehe, and I knew it was you. I do appreciate your signing your name, though! A lot of commenters don't, and it drives me nuts... but when you post, I know it's you!

Oh, and to answer your other question - I'm curious as well how Emirates will configure their 380's. I don't think anybody is going to know until they're on the line.

woah nice planes. i like that rising sun too.

hey the last time i flew i was terrified for the entire flight (mostly of the height, not of crashing really), and this is after having flown happily and comfortably for my entire life. i know youre not a psychologist (to my knowledge!!!), but maybe they teach you some stuff about fearful flyers?? do you know whats up with that?

Actually, I did my degree in psychology! They actually don't teach us anything about fearful flyers in training, but my take on it is that people who suffer anxiety during a flight either a) are actually stricken by some unrelated anxiety that doesn't manifest until they have something tangible (like flying) to relate it to, or b) are under the impression that if anything should go wrong, the outcome is life-threatening ( ... )

I've been on a 747 too, but not as a kid! And I never went upstairs. Our 340-500's have a 'downstairs' for crew only. It's my favorite part of the whole aircraft... it has beds. But passengers always try to come in because they think it leads to a bathroom, but anyway... yeah... =)

Check-In Agent adatewthd_nash4 May 4 2005, 02:11:19 UTC
Hey Susan! Can I ask you a huuuuuuge favor for me? I really hope you can do it!!! Please please please please infinity!!!! I know that cabin crew don't really interact with the check-in agents at Dubai but I was wondering if you can ask any check-in agent at Dubai what the essential requirements are to apply for the check-in agent position. I went on their website but it doesn't say anything about the requirements. Please please I hope you can do this for me!!! Thanx a lot Susan and take care! You can email me the answer if you want at J2theG_1@hotmail.com.

-Justin
