Ob Nixilis?

I had an Ob Nixilis that I didn't play. Was that a mistake? I'm seriously rethinking the issue. I chose green instead because I definitely had more playable green cards than black cards, and I didn't want to play weaker cards and rely on drawing Ob Nixilis. But maybe he is just that good

I don't really know the set, and have barely looked at the spoiler. But I had read that he's one of the rares that you most want to open. That said, your black doesn't look too powerful. I would prefer to play all good cards instead of playing some mediocre ones and hope to draw the one great one.

I thought for a long time about playing blue-black, but I would have had to resort to some poor cards. Still, Ob Nixilis is awfully good. If I could redo it, I would play blue-black just to see whether I could do better than 2-2. But that's Monday-morning quarterbacking.
