I hate voting. What more can I say than that? I hated all the senate candidates for WA. The third-party candidates (Green & Libertarian) were ultra-liberal and disagree with almost everything I believe about everything. Why do third parties have to be radical versions of the Democrats and Republicans? Can't anybody see that the classical divide ( Read more... )

i also hate voting. i just feel like my vote in washington means nothing. the gubernatorial candidate has always been democrat and i believe that will remain the same. the benton county elections will always be republican, and our electoral college votes will always be democrat. so i don't vote.

I agree as far as who will always win. Ever since I've been allowed to vote, I've gone 3rd party in the hopes that enough people will vote 3rd party to at least make people notice. In an ideal world, the race won't be reduced to 2 people before anyone even starts campaigning...

I vote more out of principle than expectation.

I don't see anything wrong with voting for professional interests. It's about everybody getting their say in the matter. If that's who you want, then the reason shouldn't matter. I have an electrician friend who always votes yes on tax increases for new buildings because his company will get extra work.
