So, due to my offensive work schedule, I have to close on Friday nights....and have to find some other way to get my Smallville fix, instead of watching it in real time. I taped it, but then found the episode on Youtube, so yay.....
Instead of transferring all her issues to Clark, maybe she needs to do some soul-searching and healing.
I actually thought they did show us some indication of exactly what you are saying in her talk with Clark. At least, it was the first time that I got the impression that yes, maybe some of Chloe's ragface behavior lately is because of her still being in grieving mode.
And if she could do that offscreen, I wouldn't argue. Ahem.
This made me LOL. :D But it would have been a LOT more effective if she'd actually had the dialog with Clark apologizing and expressing her grief, but nooooo, instead they had him apologize for not being there for her. Whatevs, SV.
did anyone else think Corben's speech about the Blur hiding away from the world, instead of being a part of it, was a little random? huzzlewhat has some really good comments about the parallel stories of Corben and Clark - and the importance of having a heart. :)
You know something....the clip I was watching started at the very tail end of Chloe's talk with Clark. That explains why I felt like I was missing something, but figured "Oh, it couldn't be much." *eyeroll* I'll have to look it up at some point...maybe I'll be a little more sympathetic to her.
Clark taking the blame...sigh. I mean, I get that that's what he does, and that as a hero, he more or less feels everyone's pain. But I would still much rather see Chloe taking responsibility, instead of Clark continuously beating himself up.
I'll have to check out huzzlewhat's review...I was a little lost during the Corben stuff, so it would be really interesting to see what other people's views are. Thanks for pointing me in that direction! :)
The Clark/Lois scene was awesome for Clois fans, of course, but I would think Clark fans would love it as well. He looked so much happier than he has in awhile! It's a good look on him.

Clark and Lois reuniting at the end? SO ADORABLE.
A truly wonderful scene. SV needs more of those.
