First off - I just caught a HUGE black ant crawling across my arm. Naturally, I freaked out and ran across the room gasping in fear. (Turns out when I get frightened, I don't scream - I just gasp like someone punched me in the windpipe). I HATE ants. Especially those really huge ones. I was out gardening earlier today - in my wee space outside

I wish they had actually cooled the Chuck and Blair back and forth after he went to 'kiss her goodbye' in her bedroom, and then *really* cooled it after he disappointed her after Bart died. It's getting way too much now. Are you spoiled for the finale at all? I won't go further.
And yes, that N/B scene showed some real growth on her part. I enjoyed. I've also enjoyed Nate really falling for Blair this season and standing up for 'his woman' and 'claiming her' and all of that caveman hoo-ha.
I loved all the group scenes, and I loved how it showed how awesomely the UES kids work together, and basically Dan's an idiot who just fucks it up.
Eh, I'm pretty sure Gabriel's still a dishonest prick.

These actually weren't the tiny ants, those they're also awful. This thing was very large and intimidating and...ick. It's been two weeks and I'm still squicked out over it. Damned ants.
I totally agree with you on Chuck and Blair. We had way too many scenes of, basically, Blair getting shot down by Chuck. Even though I love them together, it did become a little hard to root for them when it felt like this endlessly abusive cycle.

You know, I had kind of just gotten used to the idea that Sam was here for the long haul. In the beginning, when we first saw Sam watching her mom at the diner, I thought Brooke would help her lead back to her mom, but lately....And you know, Sam running past the white picket fence seemed really final. I don't know if we'll see her again.
Seriously, though, with the Lucas Scott douche-yness, you know what was just mean? He took the box away from her! And yeah, it was a device, so that Jamie could look through it and say how cool it was, but come on!
And yeah, that baby shower of 5 attendees (and about 4700 gifts) was kind of laughable. I was just like, "Tee hee, Peyton has no friends."
And ITA on the Julian! Nick Lachey-ness! of next week (though I'm holding out the teensiest amount of hope that Adam Reese shows up too.)

Lucas taking Peyton's box away was a dick move, I agree. I kind of expected him to ground her while he was at it. It was just such a "Daddy wants you to think about what you've done!" moment.
You know what I just thought? With CMM and HB gone, they'll have to line up some other actors to fill in the void....and you know, I'm sure James van der Beek isn't doing much and would LOVE to reprise Adam Reese full time. A girl can dream, right?
