To be honest, I didn't even watch the end of svu. I gave up when they got Emma's confession thrown out because Zoe isn't her guardian. Because I thought they were going to turn it into a gay marriage episode. I think you really hit the nail on the head - they're trying to fit too much into one episode lately. There don't need to be a million twists and turns. I'd like to have the straightforward stories every now and then. I think that's why I've been liking the weekday reruns I watch more than the new episodes.

My Name is Earl, and The Office however, were awesome. I love Darnell so much - sleeping in a manger! And Phyllis! I adore her and I felt so sorry for her. As a knitter, I know how much work that would have taken. And her cute boyfriend from Vance refrigeration! "What line of work are you in?"

I wasn't sure if they always shoved that much info into the episodes, or if it had just been that long since I've watched the reruns that I forgot. But yeah, it's like they're so desperate to surprise the audience that they change the story eight different times along the way. In the end, the story is so far from what you started with ( ... )
