See, there's a reason that I wouldn't have chosen this city to host a big-ass, highly publicized, professional outdoor ice hockey game. yep, it's just like how i thought it was a bad idea for my city to host the 2010 winter olympics. we're on the cusp of spring when february rolls around. planning people are silly sometimes.

I've got a mental shortlist of Places To Hold An Ice-Event Where Masses Of People Will Congregate, and . . . neither of our respective cities is on it.
