I just love your kniting. I've always wanted to know how to knit--I can do the basic stich, but that's about it. I'm better with crocheting, but still only know a few stiches... Thanks for posting your wonderful creations ^.^ It lets me knit vicariously, which is by far the least time-consuming form of kniting.

That chair makes everything baroque. It is some magical quality inherent in the upholstry.
Heh. Yarnia. I thought I'd seen all the fibre related puns the human mind can come up with, but no. Yarnia! Webs is a bit like that - a warehouse filled with cones of mill ends and discontinued whatnot. Quite a sight to behold.
I am slightly spoiled by the fact that my mother runs a small fibre arts business out of the attic and I can take the scraps as long as they get removed from the inventory spread sheet.
