Felicitations & many happy returns! mrvelocipede August 7 2009, 05:54:33 UTC
I would love to send you a fractal print, but I wasn't able to decide which one. So I thought I should ask. (I'm still sort of in testing mode, but can do 8-1/2 x 11 or 11 x 17, glossy.) One of the clock ones maybe? Something for the Peacock Room?

OH MAN. The Glass Clock of Bad Schüschein would be wonderful to have, though I feel bad that I haven't had time or means to get your other wonderful prints framed.* So don't worry about timeliness of delivery.

*I am working on a hat right now that reminds me so much of your blue skies version of Escape From The City of Entropy, and the lack of framing has been needling me all week.

Also is the rumor true that the Professor and you will be coming 'round these parts soon for his degree finalization? I have a Congratulatory Thing for both of you, and was wondering if I should ship it or give it to you in person.

Why it listed your birthday as being next week I do not know, but that has decidedly scuppered my plans for getting any card there on time. Or even in the nick of time. Possibly even 'remotely near the correct time.'

I am glad that the anniversary of your birth was filled with such things, and I wish you a felix dies natalis, and for all the days that follow. If I can locate dried cherries I will give the recipe a shot.

Do not worry; I am confident that you will build a time machine to fix everything. We're loosely attatched to the concept of accurate time-keeping around here anyhow. Thank you.

I recommend more cherries than less in the tarts, but that is just me.

Pretty! ...It strongly reminds me of something I can't quite put my finger on. Mirrormask?

There is something reminiscent of Mirrormask to it - lots of shimmering gold reflections and light-fogged exposure?
