There was a moment last night where my wireless mouse crapped out on me for the last time and I shut Klaus down forcibly, because what can you do. It seems that that moment did some very unpleasant things to my iTunes Library, like erasing every single one of my playlists and ignoring about half the music library. Sigh

Your playlists are probably recoverable provided you haven't overwritten them (which you might've done by now) but I've never had to troubleshoot itunes so I can't help. However, I can tell you that post-crash is always a good time to run chron jobs and disk repair (which I recall we've discussed previously).
