But why isn't it completely fine for top nations* to have BIG WMD to threaten Other nations and then get pissy when the Other nations who're being threatened want little WMD of their very own? Whyyyyyy? /whyning

I love Jingo. It's genius. With no need for capslock or exclamation marks to persuade. It just is.

Indeed it is genius. The 'hope you ain't being unpatriotic' bit was so spot-on, I think I physically winced at its accuracy.

I decided I needed to refresh my memory as to the plot specifics of Jingo. Oooh. At once hilarious with its accuracy and terrifying with its precience. Although life seems to have specially honed his sense of satire, his books don't usually manage to do both of those things in the same breath.
