I suspect that capitalist running dogs potential employers might view Harry Potter related items as you "finding a marketing niche" (in the bandwagon-jumping sense) which, while not true, isn't necessarily going to be detrimental to their opinion of your work and/or attitude. Smart people choose designers for their ability to design appropriately with any content.

My attempts at getting some marching band photos to send you for the scratch pad this weekend did not work out. I had sorta figured you had put that on hold... are you still wanting me to attempt to get something to you, or have you gone in another direction?

I am taking a different tack with the books, yes. I finished some prototypes last night and the look quite spiffy if I do say so myself.
