Divination by liminal, long-necked water birds

This morning, I spent a bit of time working through a new divination set: Divination by Crane. The set is (currently) 18 tiles, each with a silhouette of a crane on it in a different position. This sounds very cool. Though I tend toward more fondness for the swimming sort of waterbirds. :) I'm trying to figure out what The Siege is. I'm waffling between thinking of trebuchets and sedge marshes. Or possibly trebuchets in sedge marshes. Hmm... muddy.

A "siege" is the collective noun for a number of cranes :) "Sedge" is an alternate collective noun for it. I love it :)

Are you in need of a "duck oracle" version, perchance?

LOL. No duck oracles, thanks. I've got it covered. 1 quack for yes, 2 quacks for no, 3 quacks for where's my bread crumbs?!

I'm sure that I'd be more than willing to experiment with you. I mean, let you play with them. I mean, have you experiment with my 'divination set.' I mean. . . you know what I mean. :)

Hopefully, we'll have a working copy in a week or two!

If only there was some sort of religious order, maybe in ADF, that was devoted to the Crane. If there was such an order, members thereof might be willing to test such a system. If only...

Worry not, as soon as the product has survived initial contact with ritual, I will roll it out to the OOtC :) there is a paper copy winging its way out west as I type this, too, so consider it "coming to a Crane near you!"
