Absolutely stunning imagery. Patronage is a tricky thing and something I've been thinking of late. Deities of the Dawn, the Sun, the Moon and the Earth are hard to conceive of as being patrons. While I feel a very deep connection to Saule (Baltic Sun Goddess), a relationship vaugely similar to what you describe (albeit much more motherly and not so sensual, yet still very warm), I wouldn't consider her a patron. Same with her daughter Zemyna, the Earth.
I used to give the label of patroness to the Morrigan, but really she was more of a protector at the time and our relationship now is complicated. Even Brighid, who is many many things to me including the deity of our hearth and a source of inspiration, I wouldn't label as my patron. Like you said this doesn't make me any less connected to them, these relationships may be much more deep that one I developed with a deity of my craft. They just don't fit into my concept of patronage. Hmmm.
