Really, these are just broken up lines, looking at it critically.
Sure, I could pretend that they're freeverse, but anyone whose read enough freeverse would know that this isn't anything more than poetified sentences broken up.
I may have taken too many snooty English classes here (I tell you, this department is like the toilet of English departments), but from the poetry classes I took, as well as the rhetoric classes, I was informed numerous times that freeverse is unmetered, but it replaces meter with cadence, runs with alliteration (and her siblings) at times, or uses various poetic devices to make it "poetry" instead of "hacked sentences".
