You should go! Maybe even with me. . .

Anyway, I'm feeling a bit better after a pretty nasty two days. I want to thank everyone who sent me good IM's, but I was disappointed by the low number of naughty things people said. C'mon, I count on you guys to say naughty things when I'm not there to respond!

Yesterday, on the recommendation of mlleelizabeth, and ( Read more... )

Smallville is one of about three shows that Karen and I watch regularly these days.

Damn, it only took four episodes to consider the DVD set a useful and good investment. I started the third disc about 10 minutes ago, but Tina came home, so I had to come up stairs to look for a movie online so we could decide what we wanted to do. Crazy women.

See, I noticed as soon as you friended me (I noticed when writing this entry), but you had no journal entries when I did so.

I wanted to post in your journal first *sniff*

Check out autumnfey. You may remember her when she starred as a Co-Chair.

Maybe you need a net-connected computer on each floor of your house. Or a newspaper. (New Dispatch slogan: "It's cheaper than wireless!")

Anyway, the show does have its share of plot holes and cheese and predictability, but it's still one of the better ones out there. Besides, Lana's hot. But unlike about five or six other shows, it's not one I'm likely to buy on DVD.

Dunno when I'll have journal entries. Main reason I started the account was to make it easier to comment on other people's. :-)

Hey, something does sound familiar over there....

I hate online aliases. Too hard to figure out who you already know.

*laughs* I need a successful campaign for Archdruid first.

Then for president.

Then for high cheez-wizz of the UN (or whatever his title is)

And then First High Grand Tootin' Wizard Green-Blue Phantom Criss-Cross Underling-Overlord Imperial Emperor King.

And we'll work out my title for when I get elected world ruler after a few more steps.

i was moving a house so i did not have the ability to send you naughty things...i'm not even sure i know what that means...(um, okay...i also don't lie very well).

fwiw, i would be DAMN impressed with 2 dozen roses. i remember the days when things i went out of my way to do things for someone and was met with indifference (or hostility for hanging with "those people" or pity that my soul wouldn't be going to heaven...) i think he lives in NC now....

One thing I don't get though: am I blind to the sexual tension between Clark and Lex, or does it develop later? I know it's there. . . I've heard about it over and over. mlleelizabeth can see it, it must be true!

Or is this all *gasp* part of the homosexual agenda?!?!Oh, it's definitely true! IMO it gets much stronger as the series goes on, and season 3 had the most sexual tension so far, but most people I know saw it from the beginning. I watched Season 1 out of order, so I was already immersed in it by the time I saw the Pilot episode, so I may not be the best guide to it. Also, I thought that it was more one sided in the first half of Season 1, and mostly Lex projecting "I'm gonna get me some of that cute Farmboy!!!!" than anything going on between the two of them. A lot of it stems from Lex's way overblown speeches and gestures towards Clark in the Pilot (giving him a truck, and the whole "we have a destiny together" speech ( ... )

The season 2 dvds come out tomorrow! ;)

You're tellin' me! I forgot that season fanale always end up with "To be continued. . .'s" So I went looking today, and found that Circut City has it for $39.99, which is at least $5 cheaper than anyone else :)

Tina's going to hate that I'm hooked in so bad for another week or two. :)

That is an excellent price. I can't pick mine up until after work today and that is making this day very, very loooooong!

Tina's going to hate that I'm hooked in so bad for another week or two. :)

You mean you haven't gotten her addicted? Well, there was much more hot male partial nudity (and wet T-shirts!) in season 2, so perhaps you can entice her with that. *weg*

Be sure to listen to the commentary for Red, (I think that's the one.) wherein the cast discusses the homoerotic subtext of the show. ;) At least, I have been told that occurs.

::stomp::
I want my dvds now!!!!!

Haha. Honestly, I want mine, too :) I'm also picking them up after work.

Hehe. Tina's unlikely to get addicted, and she might be a bit concerned if I tell her that I got into it through someone who wrote Clex slash online. . .

But I'll definitely be listening to that commentary. I find this whole thing way too amusing :)
