Hey Fran, I've been thinking of you in all this. I'm really glad Charles was active and traveling right up to the end.

I know, right? So fortunate. . . he never stopped moving around and working. . . He was interviewing people on the final day of his life, and I believe he was even in a panel discussion, though that might have been the day before. But, spread the word, Locus continues! We have no intention of giving up Charles's lifework, and the magazine should be around for the forseeable future. Some changes, yes, but nothing big or threatening to the survival of the magazine. Which makes ME glad, for one! :-)
luv,
Fran

I'm sorry my dear, and just for the record, when I die, I can only hope that you also refer to me as your "crazy, crazy friend."

Much love!

Oh honey, I promise I'll refer to you as my "insane, bonkers friend who should have been in a padded cell," if it makes you happy. No dying, though, 'kay? What are you doing these days and where are you doing it? I haven't seen you in too long!
