It's spring and Mag is thinking about the prospect of holding a summer concert. Thus she needs to think about a program for it, and so she's sitting in the library, surrounded by sheet music that she's sorting through, looking for arias and songs that she knows

Natalie's in the library too, putting back a book on music theory, when she sees Mag with the sheet music.

"Are you looking for something?" she asks.

She'll look up with a smile, her peculiarly brilliant blue eyes friendly. "Oh, probably a fair number of somethings," she says. "I'm planning a concert in the summer and I'm looking for a few good songs.

"I'm Magdalen DeFoe, but please, call me Mag."

Natalie smiles. "Maybe I can help? I'm a musician. And my name's Natalie."

"Oh, I think I recognize your face," she says, with a smile. "You play the keyboard for a band that's performed here?" she asks. "I was at your debut show: you're marvelous."
