I think by the time she did that I was so overwhelmed by the folksiness and the casual behavior that it bothered me far less than all the winking and "Don'tcha know"'s. For me, the worst moment was, "Say it ain't so, Joe!" You could tell she'd been waiting ALL NIGHT to say that.

I wish I hadn't watched it. I've got her voice stuck in my head, and it's giving me a migraine.

Oddly enough I came out feeling a lot better. I hadn't paid much attention to Biden previously and was pretty impressed with him.

I definitely felt better about Biden. But I have a nagging, "Oh, she's a regular person just like me!" sense about the rest of the voting public. I'm afraid that the stupidity that gave Bush a second term might still be out there, even if the Republican party is trashing on the concerns of those same voters.
