the boy and I hit the church parking lot for trunk or treat and then the neighborhoods around the church...and then home to survey the loot and me to watch the ghost whisperer....dad and the boy went in to watch journey to the center of the earth in 3D in surround and dad went to sleep, though i don't even know how that happens, so now i am going

This is Kidling L's Senior year also so this is kind of a tearful milestone for her... the last ever HS marching competition. Last night was tearful as it was the last home football game so we had the tears on the way home from that. Next week is the last away game... you get the picture.

Next Friday is 'Senior Night,' which means that the ex and the current Queen and me and the Current Mr. will have the opportunity to walk the Senior onto the field...
which should be all kinds of fun.
at the last competition today, the Senior caught me wiping my eyes a little bit...
I'm guessing the last game ever is going to be even more weepy...
even thought I have 'been there done that' before...
