I've just watched the third and final debate and will say, I wasn't surprised by any of it.  What did impress me was how composed Barack was...how he didn't roll his eyes and look the fool while Mr. McCain was speaking.  Did he chuckle and smile?  Sure.  Was it disrespectful?  No

I was impressed by the debate as well. Barak will bring a breath of fresh air to our stale goverment I think. Can he fix everything? no. But his ideas will go a long way to get things back on the right road once again.

I think I was impressed with when Barak was asked what he would do, if elected, in his first year of office to change our dependence on forgein oil Barak was quick (polite but quick) to point out nothing would happen in one year; his plan would have us independent in TEN years. That is a realistic goal and doable.

McCain was his old cranky self, that's for sure. Full of distortion, full of crap. He grasped at every last straw and couldn't catch one. Hubby and I voted on Monday. :p
