Well, I'll take your opinion over mine, since you obviously know more than I do, since all I know is what's in that article.

But it just seems startling to me that there hasn't been an official ruling on this. How does that happen?

Can you blame them?

That's my interpretation of the 2nd amendment anyway. That we're supposed to keep our guns so that we can be ready to take a stand if our government becomes misaligned with the will of the people.

Or some such rubbish.

Listened to the NPR report today. I am surprised at the direction the Court took. I know I'm not the typical Liberal, because I am opposed to tighter gun control. But, being the pessimist I am, I had thought the Court would take away more freedoms. I'm pleased that it appears the Court will protect this right.
