Changing Default URL Search in a Mozilla browser

I finally got around to Changing Flock's Default URL Search to Google. This should work in Firefox or any other Mozilla browser.

I did it slightly differently - I just wanted a straight Google search when I type in the address bar, not "I'm feeling lucky", and not Yahoo, so in about:config I changed the keyword.URL value to Read more... )

Great find! To use Wikipedia's own "I'm feeling lucky" search, I used http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?go=Go&search=

This should definitely be written down somewhere... how about the knowledge base at http://support.mozilla.com?

Ah - their support pages are wikis! I didn't realize - such a subtle edit link. I prefer my edit links big, possibly with large arrows, a la AboutUs.com. :)

Will make sure I contribute at mozilla sometime... Thanks for pointing it out!
