Recently I listen to this song a lot, a lot, especially when I feel confused and worried about something. Somehow this song always manages to calm me down, even though it does not have up-lifting tones like other songs like Hajimari no uta or Susume.

I never listened to this song before. I like it. I think more so that you put a link to the lyrics so I could see what it's all about. With probably all their songs it's the sound or the concert performance that gets me first since I don't know what they're saying. Then when I get to see the translations I fall more in love with the song. I still have so much to explore.

I agreed. Usually I got hooked by the melody or performance first. But perhaps since I know a bit a Japanese, I want to know more about the meaning (hope to learn something new like phrases or words ^^). And Japanese songs' lyrics never fail to amaze me and attract me. They are always meaningful, thought-provoking and inspiring.

Yes, very true about their meanings. Hawaiian music is very much a part of our lives since my daughter and I dance hula. We also get hooked and once we learn what we are dancing about, we embrace it even more.
