A student from Purdue called for me last night to ask for money. She verified my address and email, then asked if I was employed. Because I said no, she didn't ask me for any money! It's nice to know that my alma mater has some class.
It's nice that they asked beforehand. I used to get called by MHC for money while I was a student and they would just go on and ask for $. I'd tell them I was a student, and a few of them would still press for $ (just $10!).
