I hate Alewife Brook Pkwy. I got squeezed by a mini van who couldn't stay in its own lane and hit the curb on the right side. I'm glad I didn't just pay to get that front end alignment I need, but now I really need one. Who does that, anyway ( Read more... )

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear about the minivan... I generally don't trust cars that large as they often don't seem aware of how large they are and tend to drift across lanes. They scare me. I'm glad you just hit the curb and it sounds like there wasn't any major damage to your car and that you are unhurt!

Yeah, me either. It's a difficult enough road to drive when you're used to it. Add several people who've never driven on it, and it becomes a death trap. Unfortunately, it's the best route from Route 2 to Medford. Those close curbs are murder though. I'm super relieved I didn't get a flat. Didn't check if I still had both hubcaps...

Yeah. Unfortunately, I was a bit tired, so my reaction time was a little slower than usual, and because I needed an alignment already the steering was a little loose, and I drifted right into those awful curbs. Talk about a wake-up call though... I'm just glad it didn't give me a flat tire. That would have totally sucked.
